It was an accidental meeting with the neighbor. It didn’t happen on purpose, I didn’t want it to happen, it just did. About two months ago, me and my wife Dorothy were invited to celebrate their 19th birthday with our neighbors. My name is Jack and I’m 29. My wife is a cute redhead and her name is Dorothy. She’s a year younger than me, and right now we don’t have any kids. We talked about it, but we kept postponing it because of both our jobs. We have great jobs and right now we weren’t ready to give them up so we could start a family. We didn’t want kids until we could actually spend the time we needed with them.

The day started perfectly. I went to a beach party with the other girls. The last class threw a big cooking contest on the beach to raise money for our prom in about a month. I was part of one of the clubs responsible for buying food and drink. We had to be at the beach by 10:00 to get everything ready. The party starts at noon and lasts until late at night. In fact, they’d get a small barn fire as soon as it got dark. I knew it was gonna be a good day, and I couldn’t wait for it to start.
