A message on the answering machine was the only message from his arrival. In less than 12 hours, Doug would only be here 48 hours. She sighed with frustration. Twice before she touched him. The first time, many years before, she was strongly rejected. It had hurt her ego pretty bad. The second was during a visit when he had surgery on his shoulder. I can’t blame him for not being sexually interested. But she and Greg had repeatedly discussed him as a man she could be with. He was definitely a fantasy of hers. Whether it would become reality would be another story.
